How billing works

Do I pay anything to start?
No. The product is free for 30 days from when you create your firm, with no credit card. We email firm administrators before billing starts.
What is a seat?
A seat is a staff login (owner, admin, or case manager). The first seat is the plan price. Each extra staff user is $39/mo. Clients using the portal do not need a seat. Inviting someone when you are out of seats bills the prorated difference after you confirm.
Do you meter clients or files?
No. Pricing is per firm staff user, not per case. Clients and projects are unlimited.
Is there a yearly price?
Yes. Pay 10 months and get 2 months free. List yearly is $790/yr.
Who gets founding rates?
The first 100 firms that create an account. Promo FOUNDING is applied automatically at checkout — $59/mo for the first user and $29/mo per extra user — for 12 months, then list ($79/mo and $39/mo).
What do later firms pay?
List prices (today, $79/mo for the first user and $39/mo per extra user). Dossierly may update list prices with at least 30 days’ notice to firm administrators.
What is an admin vs a case manager?
Admins manage workspace settings, invites, retention, and the booking catalogue. Case managers work the shared caseload. Every member can access the firm’s files.
What currency is this?
Canadian dollars, plus applicable GST/HST. We do not take a percentage of Square or Stripe consultation payments.
